The
3M Scotch ATG
700 Gunoffers quick, controlled application of a strip of Scotch® ATG pressure
sensitive transfer tape. Bond lines are thin and adhesive flows into surface
irregularities. It is the easiest way to apply transfer tape precisely where you want it.
In one quick motion, the ATG gun automatically removes the liner from
the tape and applies only the adhesive. The extended application roller
provides greater control, makes it easy to see where the tape is being
applied. Fast convenient one trigger operation. There's no mess or
clean-up. Easy to load and use. The ATG-700 gun accepts 1/2" and 3/4" rolls in 36yd
and 60yd rolls. Replaces the ATG 752 Dispenser.
Special 1/4" adapter enables you to use the ATG-700
with 1/4" tape. ATG tape sold seperately.

The New ATG 714 Gun is for the detail oriented. Great for framers who need
greater control in detailed applications. Specifically designed for use with 1/4" Scotch ATG Tapes. Makes applying fillets, layering multi-opening mattes and
working with small wooden frames simple. Other features include a gear system that helps prevent gum-up, easier loading
and a transparent cover- so you know when it's time for a refill.
Bond lines are thin. No mess or clean-up. The ATG acrylic adhesive flows
into surface irregularities to join, mount or laminate. ATG Tape sold seperately. Instructions on how to add ATG rolls to your

- 3M Scotch 4941 VHB Acrylic Foam Tape - 4941 is a
gray double-coated conformable pressure sensitive acrylic foam tape that is 0.045 in. (1.1
mm) in thickness. The high strength acrylic foam is viscoelastic in nature which
gives energy absorbing and stress relaxing properties that provides this tape with its
unique characteristics. This product has outstanding durability, UV resistance and
temperature performance and bonds to a broad range of substrates common in the Window
& Door Industry. The conformable foam provides good contact or wet-out with
dissimilar materials or irregular surfaces.
These tapes are ideal for use in many interior and exterior industrial
applications. They can replace rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives, and other fasteners.
3M 4941 has been commonly been used for glazing bar applications. It produces a quality
and aesthetically pleasing appearance which is quick and easy to use and requires no clean
time, features that are important to the glazing market. A similar tape has been used for
glazing bars in the refurbishment of the Dorchester hotel.
- 3M Scotch 4947 VHB Acrylic Foam Tape (Black) - 4947F is a 45 mil, very high bond (VHB™),
black, double coated adhesive foam. It is the black version of 4941. In many
cases they can replace rivets, spot welds, liquid adhesives or other permanent fasteners.
It is available with a red PE liner. This conformable foam provides good contact, even
with mismatched substrates.
- 3M Scotch 4943 VHB Acrylic Foam Tape - 4943 is similar to 4941, but this tape can be applied at
temperatures as low as 32oF (0oC).

Scotch 4950 VHB Acrylic Foam Tape (White)- 4950 is 45 mil thick, white closed-cell
acrylic foam carrier with all purpose acrylic adhesive and paper liner. High strength,
handling convenience, cushioning, damping and impact resistance. UL listing 746C.
Application ideas include attaching stiffeners in air conditioners, office furniture and
telecommunications equipment. Also, to bond aluminum skin to steel support of trucks,
vans, ambulances. Bond architectural signs to frames.

5952 VHB Acrylic Foam Tape (Dark Gray)-
5952 is 45 mil thick,
dark gray closed-cell
acrylic foam carrier. Soft Conformable foam bonds to many
irregular surfaces. Bonds well to painted and powder coated metals and hard
to stick plastics like polyethylene and silicone. Resists moisture, UV, and
solvents. Use indoor/outdoor. Dark gray acrylic foam with acrylic adhesive
and red polyethylene liner. Temperature range is
-40°F to 250°F.

3M Scotch-Grip Plastic Adhesive 4475 is a high strength
fast-drying clear adhesive with unique plastic bonding capabilities for a
wide variety of industries. Clear, fast tacking, and dries quickly to a firm
bond. Resists water, plasticizer migration, detergents, soap solutions, oils
and grease. It can be used to bond many
ceramics, glass, leather, cloth, and vinyls to themselves and a wide variety
of substrates. The solid weight is approxiamately 42%. The flast point is 20
degree F/-7 degrees Celsius. The color is clear, the consistency is medium
liquid, and the application method is flow. The bond range holds up to 10
minutes. Peel strength is 44 PIW at 75 degree F (24 degrees Celsius); canvas
to cold rolled steel at 2 inches/minute seperation minute. |
