3M Scotch-Weld Structural Adhesive DP-8005 is a 2-part
acrylic adhesive (with a 10:1) mix ratio by volume. Scotch-Weld Adhesive
provides high quality bonding performance on most low surface enery
plastics, including polypropylene, polyethylene, and thermoplastic olefins,
without surface treatment. Scotch-Weld DP8005 can replace screws, rivets,
plastic welding and two-stage processes that include priming and surface
treatments (flame, corona, etc.). Handling time 20 to 30 minutes.
Total curing time: 8-24 hours.
3M EPX Plus II Applicator,
10:1 mixing nozzle, and 10:1 plunger are required for proper dispensing of

Instant Adhesive CA40
|
3M Scotch-Weld Instant Adhesive CA40 is a low viscosity, very fast setting
instant adhesive with excellent adhesion to many substrates including flexible vinyl
and EPDM rubber (i.e. bonding an EPDM rubber gasket). It has good adhesion
to most cured rubbers, aluminum, flexible vinyl and plastics. This adhesive reaches
handling strength in 1-30 seconds for rubber, metal, wood, and more
depending on the application. There's no mixing or metering. Just squeeze
out a drop per square inch and you make short work of repairs for many parts
and surfaces in your facility. Reach 80% of full strength in only an hour.
At full strength you'll have almost a ton of holding power on steel. |
